Hi! My name is Judy, but in many writing circles I am known as Jaynie, which is the pen name I use when writing more adult content. I'm a middle-aged mother of two that enjoys an eclectic mix of activities including triathlon competition, international travel, planning theme parties, and of course, writing! I am a basically happy person given to fits of somber reflection, during which I love to write. For me, writing while listening to my favorite music is the greatest catharsis. 

I'd love to invite everyone to follow my blog. It is called, The Elusive Muse. It is a blog specifically designed as a forum for creative writing. I truly believe that we all need a bit of inspiration, but that inspiration doesn't always come easily. One of my personal strategies is to simply write, whether or not I have anything in particular to write about, just to keep the creative juices flowing. The blog may include my commentary on world events, poetry, excerpts from projects I'm working on or just about anything else you can think of.
